Our Aim

GENERAL AIMS OF THE HUMMINGBIRDS ASSOCIATION

1. Foster good interpersonal relationships Among Jamaican Nationals in The Bahamas and facilitate a high degree of respect from persons of all nationalities.

2. Assist with the integration of Jamaicans within The Bahamian community.

3. Assist Needy Persons, Families and Institutions.

4. To provide financial assistance for individuals deemed to be in dire need; and also provide even more substantial donations to Jamaican and Bahamian institutions deemed to be needy.

5. Being supportive of the work of the Consulate; and promoting programmes as would enhance the Jamaican image throughout the length and breadth of the Bahamas.

Food Assistance to Destitute families and individuals.



Shelter

Donation to NEMA. Assist in locating housing for destitute families.



Health Care

Donating for healthcare since early 1990’s with over Thirty Thousand Dollars & equipment.



Education

The Hummingbirds has donated school Equipment and Supplies to several Schools in both Jamaica and Bahamas
